To Apply
Fill out an application at the Office of Career and Counseling. Bring a photocopy of your application to the Welcome Desk and indicate that it is for either Welcome Desk staff positions or Event Staff positions. If there is a vacant position, we will contact you to schedule an interview. You will need to have two forms of ID upon hire (typically driver's license and social security card).

Positions
Facility Assistants, Trieshmann Health and Fitness Pavilion
Customer service skills are a must! These individuals are the "face" of our facility. Front-line staff will assist with greeting members, scanning hands into the access control system, handling phone calls, cleaning, maintenance, and supervision of the fitness area, supervision of the field house area, equipment check out, sales, giving information regarding current programs and memberships, etc.
Building Supervisors
Are you exceptionally responsible and have a great smile? Do you want supervisory skills that will look fantastic on a resume? Then you might be "Building Supervisor" material! We prefer to promote from within, but we encourage anyone who may be interested in applying for this dynamic position to do so by filling out an application.

Internships
The Freeman Center offers a truly challenging and rewarding internship experience for the serious student who wants real career experience. Opportunities for growth in the areas of exercise physiology/wellness testing, management, facility maintenance, human relations, team building, programming, event management, marketing, communications, and more are available. If you are interested in pursuing an internship at The Freeman Center, please contact your prospective supervisor early, as the selection process is competitive.
